Intelsat 20

Intelsat 20 is the 47th satellite that SSL has provided to Intelsat, the leading provider of Fixed Satellite Services (FSS) worldwide. Intelsat 20 replaced the Intelsat 7 and Intelsat 10 satellites, which were co-located at 68.5 degrees East longitude. The satellite’s C- and Ku-band payload is optimized for high-power distribution of video, voice and data network services. Intelsat 20 was successfully launched in 2012.
