EchoStar XV

EchoStar XV is a direct broadcast satellite (DBS), which was built for EchoStar Orbital Corporation II, a subsidiary of EchoStar Communications Corporation. The spacecraft was launched in July 2010. Based on SSL's 1300 platform, EchoStar XV provides expanded services and flexibility for DISH Network's more than 13 million direct-to-home (DTH) television subscribers.
