EchoStar XI

EchoStar XI is a powerful 20-kW, direct broadcast satellite (DBS), which was built for an affiliate of DISH Network Corporation. Launched in 2008, the satellite is the fifth SSL-built satellite in the DISH fleet and is located 110 degrees West longitude. EchoStar XI provides expanded services and flexibility for Dish Network’s more than 13 million direct-to-home (DTH) television subscribers.
